Photovision back at Old Trafford 26th June 2007
The UK’s premier independent regional roadshows and seminars for the professional photographer will be back at the Manchester United Football Stadium on the 26th June. With companies such as Nikon, Apple, Graphistudios and Guy Gowan exhibiting and presenting at the show it is a must for all professionals based in the Manchester Area.
Alongside the various manufactures, distributors and wholesalers of photographic products and equipment will be the free seminars and camera clinic for all visitors.

11.15am - 12.15pm Adobe Photoshop Power Tutorial
Presenter: Guy Gowan
Adobe expert Guy Gowan will amaze you with the latest features for Photographers on the Adobe Creative Suite. Come and see how to make the most of your raw image files and increase your productivity with tuition on image workflow and processing. See how the suite of applications work together to create stunning images quicker and easier than before.
12.15pm - 12.30pm MPA: Wedding & Portrait Sales Promotions Plus Awards & Qualifications
Presenter: Colin Buck
Colin Buck, MPA Chief Executive, will explain about a new Consumer Award being launched by the MPA in conjunction with Kodak. It will give all professional photographers the opportunity to run sales promotions to attract more wedding and portrait clients through their studios. He'll also talk about the British Professional Photography Awards which is held annually in conjunction with the BIPP. Plus he’ll give information on how you can gain those all important qualifications.
1.45pm - 2.30pm Success in Wedding Photography

Andrea Barrett is respected as one of the most talented United Kingdom photographers and runs her successful wedding and portrait business in Leeds.
Regularly photographing around 85 weddings per year. Andrea has digital workflow down to a fine art, having no staff at all, she does everything from creation to concept, printing their own previews, designing the albums, using various software to final construction. Andrea only went digital some 18 months ago!
Modern brides want more than the traditional weddings groups – something different, less posed, more candid.
In a rare glimpse find out how Andrea captures the real storey of a wedding – the excitement, atmosphere, emotions and adventure, in pictures that are interesting, informative and humorous.
