Something for everyone at the Hertfordshire Hatfield House PhotoVision RoadShow - Release 05/07 Hatfield House in Hertfordshire home of the 7th Marquess of Salisbury played host for the first time, but definitely not the last, to the Photovision Roadshow.
Over 350 visitors turned up to view one the most beautiful venues in the series of Photovision Roadshows. The exhibition was a great success for all who attended with the seminars being full to capacity throughout the day and the camera clinic working overtime to meet the demand.
The exhibition hall, which had recently been restored at the beginning of the year to be a purpose built exhibition hall, had excellent lighting for displaying products with lots of natural light from the glass roof. Allowing exhibitors to show off their products to utmost potential.
The show drew in a good cross section of professionals from wedding and portrait to press photographers all who found something of interest for there sector.
David Brown of Butterfield Photography has attended all of the shows run within the home counties in the last four years and stated, “the venue is one of the most attractive in the series and the shows still offer the best opportunity to meet suppliers in an intimate face to face setting where they can take the time to give you a complete demonstration of there products, discuss projects, problems and solutions. I was also able to take advantage of the special offers some of the exhibitors had available at the shows as well as meet and talk to a new supplier GraphiStudios, about the album they were working on for me”
Paul Stewart, an editorial photographer for over 30 years attended the show was pleased that he was able to meet the guys from Nikon and get hands on with a new lens that he was considering purchasing. Again the nature of the PhotoVison shows allowed the visitor and exhibitor the time to discuss the requirements and the spec of the product.
Exhibitors also have high praise for series of PhotoVision Roadshows with quotes such as "The Photovision Roadshows are in essence my roving showroom, holding events at different locations throughout the UK and Ireland. This means I can target customers in different areas without having to make individual sales visits. In addition customers can see, touch and appreciate the quality of the product and not rely only on descriptions on the website. I thoroughly recommend these events to any company that wants to target high spending professionals in the photographic market".
